Norronas most versatile waterproof pants.
These protective shell pants are made for all-year mountaineering but work great for general outdoor activities all year, from trekking to ski touring.
We use GORE-TEX® fabric because it’s the world-leading quality for durable waterproofness (28,000mm), optimized breathability (RET Less than 13), and total windproofness.
The fabric is a light 3-layer 40D ePE GORE-TEX® with a recycled nylon face and backer,105gm2. At the bottom of the leg, they are reinforced with waterproof 3-layer woven ePE GORE-TEX® fabric, 149 gm2.
Key features include: A custom-fit waist system, full-length, two-way side zippers, hand warming pockets, adjustable cord at the bottom hem, an inside gaiter hook, reinforced inside leg, and a thigh pocket.
The pants have a regular fit with articulated knees to improve mobility during vertical movement. They can be worn over hiking boots and light ski touring boots.

PERFORMANCE
6/6 Windproofness: Products that protect against extreme wind and conditions, both through the construction of the garment and the taped and windproof membrane. These products have a stiffer fabric which provides a greater shield effect as it will not adhere to the mid-layer / body in the same way as lighter fabrics. This is especially efficient in temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius where the “wind chill” effect is increasing.
6/6 Waterproofness: Norronas most waterproof products will keep you dry regardless of the weather. They have taped seams, durable membrane and will keep you protected through an entire day of demanding weather. The products are durable and will keep their functionality for years if you make sure to maintain the products. The products are engineered for maximum protection and have passed the extensive Storm test by Gore-Tex.
2/6 Insulation: Stay warm during breaks or take some activity at 15 to 0 degrees Celsius. Not very insulating but made in materials that provide some insulation properties due to air pockets in the fabrics.
4/6 Breathability: Norronas most breathable outer layers with good protective properties. Provides sufficient and effective moisture transportation during medium intensity but will require the use of extra ventilation e.g. under arms during high activity.
4/6 Durability: Durable yet pretty lightweight outer layers. Suitable for versatile outdoor use.
4/6 Lightweight: Light, but durable products made in the sweet spot between optimal lightweight, protection, and durability. Most of our shell products place here.

Technical Fit
This product is a technical fit. Typically made for mountain biking or mountaineering/climbing. The fit is made for the perfect balance between allowing a layer underneath and following the body shape and not restricting movements when climbing/mountaineering or mountain biking, and not getting stuck in crampons or the bicycle chain or seat.
