The Boxia Drop Foot AFO is designed to assist the lower limb in achieving adequate ankle dorsiflexion for normal heel-to-toe gait. It helps to raise the forefoot during gait, reducing the risk of tripping and falling. It consists of two separate components - a cuff situated above the ankle and a non-slip hook section which fits between the laces / Velcro straps of footwear. This orthosis uses a perforated material for optimal ventilation and gel padding around the Achilles for additional comfort. This is hand washable and suitable for wear with most types of footwear. Can be worn without footwear by use of the additional  accessory. A is also available, providing a longer lever arm for additional support and stability. Available in both black and beige.
